Working with Carlos and his incredible team – Baja Custom Homes – on our family getaway at Playas Pacificas… was nothing short of incredible. From start to finish BCH provided a home building experience with honesty, integrity, and professionalism. They took the house sketches from my son and I and worked with us to make design changes that improved the functionality and aesthetics of our home. This was done in a very prompt manner. Construction began quickly after orienting the home on our lot to maximize its ocean views as well as protection from prevailing winds. We were engaged throughout the building process (as we are in Colorado) by weekly communication and photos from BCH. It was such a pleasure working with Carlos and his team. They always wanted us to be happy with the finished product and they worked diligently to make that happen. The smallest of details were never overlooked. They introduced changes to save us money while creating the simple, inviting spaces we were after. We appreciated the subcontractors of BCH, many of whom we met. All were polite, professional and the quality of their work and attention to detail were outstanding. Being on the job site with them, it was obvious they take pride in their work. BCH completed our beautiful home in less than one year and UNDER budget! From initial help with local bank introductions to our final, detailed punch list, BCH did everything in their power to take the work and stress away, while addressing all our needs and wishes. We cannot imagine a better experience and are so grateful that we chose BCH to help us build a home for our family to call our forever home.

Baja Custom Homes did exactly that. They build us a wonderful custom home. The process was easy and a… full service experience. We could not be on site most of the time, so relayed on remote communication. On top of that our Spanish exhausted itself at ‘Buenos Dias’. From planning to reviews, rough construction through exterior and interior designs their experienced and knowledgeable staff worked with us in English and brought our ideas to life. The whole process took a bit less than a year. If you are planning to build your home in Baja California Sur you can’t go wrong with Baja Custom Homes.

After my wife and I shopped for a home in La Paz and not finding exactly what we were looking for… , we decided to build. We were still living in CA and the idea of building a custom home in Baja long distance made us very nervous! We were fortunate to be introduced to Carlos, see a few of his completed homes and after explaining his process and logistics, we quickly felt at ease, comfortable and confident with moving forward. I come from a 40 year construction background and was impressed with what I saw. The Baja Custom Homes team were consistent, honest, professional and always ready to please the entire way through. We had daily communication, photos and videos showing the progress and in making decisions. We made a few trips down during construction to select materials and Carlos was wonderful chauffeuring us around to help and showed us around town and teach us about our new home town. Our home was done and we moved in as scheduled. Of course, with any build something will not go as planned or there will be a mix up of some sort, with a few our fault, but Carlos and his team were on it, always transparent and correcting quickly. The building process in Mexico is very different than in the states and we were amazed at how and what the crew does manually….kudos! We LOVE our home and highly recommend Baja Custom Homes for all your building needs, small or large.

Thank you Carlos! My wife Cherith and I took the plunge and decided to buy in Mexico. After looking at many… properties around the La Paz area, we decided to build our dream casa in the community of Haciendas Palo Verde. We researched several builders and after a very rigorous process, finally selected Carlos Gonzalez Valero (Baja Custom Homes). Carlos, being fluent in English, articulated the planning and budgeting processes in a manner that was straightforward and easy for us to understand. At the outset, Carlos made sure he understood our tastes and our expectations. He accompanied us to all of the suppliers and paid careful attention to our likes and dislikes. He clearly laid out the costs of each of our choices so that there were no surprises as the project progressed. Once construction started, Carlos kept us informed every step of the way. Whether through the WhatsApp face to face video, photos, telephone calls or emails, he gave us frequent progress reports and, when required, solicited our opinions on any potential or necessary changes. Our project, as with any building project, was not without its challenges. Through each challenge, Carlos presented practical options and reassured us that the outcome would meet our expectations. He was right of course. As an architect and professional builder, Carlos helped take us from the daunting prospect of building a house in Mexico to a dream home in the sun!
